We spent a very relaxing week at your beautiful cabin. The views outside, throughout the cabin area were just lovely. The cabin is extremely well kept and clean, with bright sunshine streaming in from all windows. My husband enjoyed the Hot Tub, a couple of days while there. We sat out on the side deck to enjoy our morning coffee & some wine in the evening, before retiring to the comfy bed { we used the downstairs bedroom}, as we thought it to be more convenient for our 3 legged “furbaby” Riley! We spent the days from 5AM until dusk, “exploring” all we could get in for the week. We visited Grandfather Mtn, Linville Falls { bought some wine there to take home}, Mt Mitchell State Park, drove through Banner Elk, Little Switzerland , shopped at the Ingles Grocery Store in Spruce Pine, Spruce Pine is a pretty little town, where we found the City Drive-In which was great for us, as our Riley traveled everywhere with us too! We did go to Grandfather Vineyards too , so we sat by their creek , while enjoying a chilled bottle of their River White variety of wine! Our time spent at your cabin was made even more special, when our friends, from Mississippi { Linda, Gary & ‘‘furbaby” Lucy } joined us, { they stayed in Cabin #1 } A wonderful cabin & the North Carolina section of the Blue Ridge Parkway, made for a fantastic ‘2nd meeting’, for myself & my family, with my Breast Cancer “sister”, Linda & her family . THANK YOU Jill, for allowing us the time to “live” in your cabin!!!!!
