Thank you so much Jill! The cabin was so well kept and clean, the hot tub was great for our sore muscles after our long hikes through the beautiful mountains. You really have a wonderful place!! Secluded yet close enough to all of the amenities the Blue Ridge Parkway has to offer! I will not hesitate to recommend you to anyone heading to The Parkway and hope to get back there real soon. Keep up the fantastic work!

After having our first child we knew our vacation plans would have to change a little since we normally cruise to the Caribbean during our anniversary trip every winter. After our son came along we made a commitment to visit more places in our own backyard. I was so glad we found Jill and her cabins through a friend. What better a place to start than in our own Blue Ridge Mountains. This was just the get away we needed after a stressful year. From the first email I sent to Jill I felt very comfortable that I would have every answer to any question I had in relation to the cabin and the surrounding area. The plethora of information she forwarded to us and the recommendations provided proved to be invaluable. We thoroughly enjoyed the Shepherd’s Table and Knife and Fork. We made it down to the Biltmore Estate and up to Grandfather Mountain. What a wonderful centrally located cabin! Half the adventure was getting to the cabin and getting around and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Then we were able to wind down each day in the hot tub and enjoy the peace and quiet of the cabin. It was also a wonderful relief to see how well stocked the cabin was. All you truly need to bring is clothes and food, everything else is already there! This was an amazing way to spend our 9th Anniversary and our first vacation with our son. I highly recommend that anyone looking to get away to a beautiful cabin to look no further than Mountain Dream Cabins!Thank you!

Our stay at the Mountain View cabin was fantastic! The cabin had beautiful wood details throughout and it was perfectly cozy and so clean. The kids had a blast in the loft style bedroom with the built in desk and plenty of games and stuffed animals to play with. They enjoyed the nature walks to the creek and I enjoyed the peace of mind that they were completely safe from traffic. I particularly enjoyed the fact that the owner has incorporated local items such as soap from the local Soap Shack hand made. I even stopped by and purchased some for gifts (and myself of course) to bring home. I want to add a special 'thank you' to Vicky (the keeper) for finding my jewelry I had left behind and keeping it safe for me until I came back to pick it up. Exactly the kind of hospitality one could hope to find in a small town like Spruce Pine. My only complaint would be that we didn't stay longer! Thanks Jill, we will definitely recommend your cabin to others:-)

A Mountain Dream is the perfect name for this cabin! From the moment I booked the cabin, Jill (the owner) provided a wealth of information. From specific directions (and alternative routes) to points of interest and places to eat, the information was endless. Her enthusiasm and love for the mountains was obvious and she went above and beyond to make our stay as peaceful and fun as possible! The cabin was in impeccable condition and was fully stocked with everything we needed. There was nothing we could have asked for more. If you desire a cabin that feels like you are in the comforts of your own home, I HIGHLY recommend A Mountain Dream. I cannot compliment this place, amenities, and surroundings enough! You will NOT be disappointed!

We had a wonderful week at your pretty cabin! So peaceful and quiet! We drove and hiked up and down the Blue Ridge Parkway north to Boone and south to Asheville. Along the way we saw deer, wild turkeys, chipmunks (eating apples) and even a mama bear and her two cubs!! Went to Linville Caverns on our one rainy day! We had great weather for visiting Grandfather Mountain and even saw snow at the top of Mt. Mitchell! We celebrated our 8th anniversary here and it will be long remembered! Thanks Jill!!

My husband and I had never been to the North Carolina mountains before, and we found this trip to be everything and more than we expected. The location of the cabin was right off the parkway, and close by to everything we wanted to see - Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns and Falls, and the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. The cabin was cozy and charming, and the hot tub was wonderful to come back to after a long day of hiking in the mountains. We really appreciated all the recommendations of things to do and places to eat as well - especially Louise's Rock House Restaurant! It was definitely a wonderful, relaxing way to spend a week, and we look forward to coming back.

We want to thank you for such a thoughtful, furnished cabin as well a wonderful setting . It really made our mulitple celebrations special. All our needs were met and then some.
It was very nice meeting you and seeing just how caring you are about your renters as well as your property. You seldon meet someone like you for it is usually all about getting and leaving the caring dangling.
We also want to thank you for the very nice note and champagne, although we do not usually partake we are most appreciative.

With the hectic pace of life, your cabin was just what we needed. It was so clean, well appointed, and peaceful and made for an amazing eight year wedding anniversary. We slept in the loft every night with the window open to take in the night air, the sounds of the woods, and the gentle patter of falling rain. We hadn't slept that well in a LONG time! Your suggestions were great and we thoroughly enjoyed Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns and Falls, Mt. Mitchell, and many of the other stops along the Parkway. We spent the day at the Biltmore on our actual anniversary and completely agree with you, it is definitely a must see. Very impressive estate! As for eating, we have to give a BIG thumbs up to Knife and Fork in downtown Spruce Pine. The chef does a phenomenal job and uses ingredients from nearby farms. And with the menu changing daily, it makes for a destination in itself. And how great that it was so close to your cabin!

We travel quite often and have to say, we have never encountered such great customer service. You truly care that each of your guests has an amazing time and are so quick to respond to questions and offer suggestions, even going so far as to just check in and say hello. Again, thanks for an amazing trip and helping us create Mountain Memories! We'll be back!

This was our first visit to North Carolina and we were not disappointed, the cabin was really cozy and exceeded our expectations in every respect. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The location was really convenient with a Wal-mart not too many miles away and lots of places to visit within easy reach. Relaxing in the hot tub after a few hours hiking was a real treat and we really missed it when we moved on. If we come back to the area in future which is a strong possibility we will be planning on staying again. We would both highly recommend your cabins to anyone visiting North Carolina. Even if we were asked to pick a fault, we couldn’t.
